INTERNSHIP/LAW CLERK OPPORTUNITITIES

INTERNSHIP POSITIONS:

WhatThis is a non-paid position; however, future pay may be possible after the internshipis complete. Moreover, the selected intern may receive college credit.

The position is working in the offices of an Entertainment Lawyer on variety of  projects, most legal.   Law Students and Paralegals are best suited for this position.  Undergraduates with extremely strong credentials who are interested in attending law school will also be considered.

Where: The office Downtown near Capital Law School.  Parking available in attached garage. 

Time Commitment:  It is expected that the position would demand at least approximately 10-20 hours a week.  Additional hours can be arranged for more credit. 

When:  We are looking for Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring candidates.

Who: The position is excellent for someone interested in a career in business law, entertainment law, civil litigation, real estate, and/or trademark and copyright law.  Ideally, the best candidate would already enjoy music and would be active in the local music scene and would enjoy attending shows from local artists in addition to national acts.  Of course, the selected candidate will be a self-starter, hard working, responsible, and capable of following though on projects.  A general knowledge of the music business will be preferred, but not mandatory because it will be learned on the job.  

Otherwise, the person should be enrolled in a university and have the ability to receive internship credit. Law Students are also encouraged to apply and will be given significant opportunity to participate in legal projects and may also be considered for a paid law clerk position in the future.

LAW CLERK POSITIONS:

Attention Law Students:  We occasional hire law students paid law clerk positions; however, please note that most law students that we have hired have first come through our internship program where many have been successful obtaining independent study credit towards a J.D.  This allows the student to gain valuable experience in a credible law firm while still working towards graduation.  If you would like to apply for a law clerk position or internship position, please follow the instructions below.
